The Third Eye

Liberia goes to a crucial national election few months from now. The upcoming election is supposed to determine the direction that the country must take going forward.

The 2023 presidential and legislative elections are coming at a time when everybody seems to be going crazy. Rice price gone up. Transportation o, haaaay! As Ma Krubo down Jorkpen Town Market says, it’s hell to tell the captain.

But on top of our local wahalla, the flies on my wall are telling me that more and more sanctions are coming for our government officials. A particular fly by the name of Magnitsky is whispering that our man PYJ and many others could be nailed on the wall. But I am now left wondering, which wall, when PJY and other warlords who ran this country to dust sit at the Legislature, deciding the fate of the entire country.

But after all is said and done, Mr. Fly is also whispering about how the people are who supposed to be positioned to take out Mr. Weah and his group of Sycamorians in 2023, would, could, might lose everything in November 2023 when the second round votes bells go gonging, because by then they will be biting each other’s ears, eyeballs and the other whatchammacallits from down under.

The other thing that Mr. Fly is saying is that after all the the huffing and puffing and the internal warmongerings from within the camp that is supposed to take out Weah and his cabals, many of those who are saying they came to redeem Liberia from Weah will be part of the Halleluja Hossana choir that might grace the occasion for Mr. Weah’s second term ascension in January 2024.

And, above all else, SHE will be sitting there, smiling, winking her eyes, smirking, while her protégé awaits his turn of ascension at Honorable Liberian Senate to oversee Liberia’s most mineral-rich region. It’s a wrap!
