Liberian-U.S. born 4-year-old Davila wins Face of Iowa Kids Fashion Week competition

MONROVIA, Liberia – Four years old Davila Krubo Vezele, has won this year’s version of the Face of Iowa Kids Fashion Week (IKFW) competition, an annual premium kids fashion event showcased from both retail boutique to well-known and emerging designers.

The organizers of IKFW announced Friday, 1 February 2019, that Davila had won the seven-contestant competition accumulating the total of 1.5k points, which was garnered by an online voting process where voters were required to click the ‘Like’ button on the photo of the contestant of their choice provided on Facebook via an Iowa Kids Fashion Week link.

Davila’s closest contender, Jordyn Faith Gaye got 1.3k points, to emerge as the competition’s 1st runner-up.

Little Davila, a Pre-K student at the Willow Brook Elementary school, Altoona Iowa, USA, was born July 23, 2014 in the U.S., unto Liberian parents, Mr. David Vezele and Madam Viola P. Vezele.

She and all other participants for this year’s competition are expected to form part of Iowa Kids Fashion Week’s official promotional photo shoots, Flyers and Magazine, at an upcoming casting call slated for 16 February 2019.
